I realize the name "wilddire" is getting quite old. I don't even know what it means. So, I've decided to switch over to a new account! The name is After-the-Aftermath, which ties in with a new character I've since made on Furcadia.

So, if you still want to watch me continue with my art, please make sure to watch :iconafter-the-aftermath:. It will take me a little while to transfer everything that needs transferring over to the new account, but one of the first things I'll have is an avatar. I hope to have all my old watchers join me on my new name, however small the group of people is. :)

And a question for those who have experience switching accounts: I can't take my old art and post it up on the new account, can I?

See you all there!

-wilddire, soon to be After-the-Aftermath

Hellos! I just had to tell you about a strange incident at school the other day... Some of you may already know about it. Plus I'll give you guys a few updates. But first, the "Effing Chromosome" story.

Okay, so in science we had an assignment where we had to do a poster or a PowerPoint on a genetic disease of our choice. My partner and I were doing Tourette Syndrome. So we were presenting our PowerPoint on Thursday, and we had this one slide which contained nothing but a picture of the Tourette's chromosome. We explained what it was and went on to the next slide, but suddenly someone shouted, "Wait, wait! Go back!" My teacher was also, erm, giggling, and telling me to go back a slide. So I clicked back one and everybody bursts out laughing. I'm like, "WTF? What's so funny?" I looked at my partner just as she glanced up at the screen where the PowerPoint was showing. She gasped, and I still had no idea what was going on. Someone shouted, "In blue! Hahahahaha! In blue on the chromosome!"

The chromosome was made of little multicolored dots, you see, and in these dots I finally saw what everyone was laughing about. In blue dots, really big across the chromosome, it says, "fuck." Yes, "fuck." We'd gone through that slide a million times and had never seen that...and it was just a picture off of the internet! It was embarassing as hell, but at least we still got 100%! :D

Anyways, I put up an animation in my Scraps. It's just a bouncing ball, but I'm working on more complicated stuff, lol. I'm sort of working on some videos which I may put up the links to if I ever finish them...

If you'd like to request something, do an art trade, or anything else, post here or send me a message.

I luffers you all! -hugs-

Heya, my peopley people.

Well, if you're from the Detroit area like I am, I'm sure you've heard about the Roosevelt Tidwell case. Detroit police sergeant Roosevelt Tidwell was accused of allegedly forcing several couples to perform sexual activities at a local Detroit park while he watched. He told most of them that they were under arrest and the only way he'd let them off the hook was if they performed these sexual activities.

The whole thing has caused quite a lot of talk in the news media because it's obviously wrong and cannot go without punishment (if Mr. Tidwell actually did what he was accused of). He's currently being held in a Wayne County jail, I think.

But that's not exactly my problem...my problem is that I go to school with Mr. Tidwell's son. In fact, I'm friends with him. A few people at school know about this case with his father, but HE hasn't mentioned it. Though, who would want to mention that their father had just commited a crime?

I know he must be feeling horrible about it, and I can't help feeling horrible about it as well. But I really don't know if I should say something to him, like to try and make him feel better, but I'm afraid it'll make him feel worse. Help?!
